Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She is a popular actress on TV. Her parents are both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. Soon after she was moving to Texas to pursue her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of roles in acting, such as commercials and local independent movies. Even with the minor roles, she discovered that she was a performer with a passion. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and she got her first role in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Throughout the early 2000s she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Following a brief run, her character migrated into Law & Order: LA. This particular character brought De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performances on a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. In NBC's dark, dramatic thriller Do No Harm she played her character of Do No Harm, she played Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory as well as being Italian through heritage. Her family was conservative and spiritual one. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Out of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical version of Jane Eyre.
